There are two kinds of dreamers - those who close their eyes and project images of perfection in their minds, and then those who twist reality and make an adventure out of the non-perfect.

Tim Burton is the God of all of those who dream within the latter realm.

He caters to those little girls that wished for pink-polka-dotted elephants rather than a pony on their birthday. Girls very much like myself! I'm less fond of his later work, like what came after Sleepy Hollow, but he's still the master of his own aesthetic, one that is truly Tim and no one else. Octobers 'Magical Issue' of Bazaar paid respects to the artist with this wonderfully eerie spread dubbed Tim Burton's Tricks & Treats shot by Tim Walker.

Röyksopp - Remind me

First time I saw this vid, I was in loveeee.
Directed by the French motion graphics studio H5.
It features a day in the life of a woman working in the London's Square Mile solely through infographics; this includes labelled close-ups of everyday objects, product lifecycles, schematic diagrams, charts, and is generally illustrated in a simple isometric visual style.

A Little Artful – ZEVS

Awhile ago, french artist ZEVS was arrested in Hong Kong for painting this Chanel Liquidated logo on the side of the Giorgio Armani building in Central, Hong Kong.

On August 14th he was given a two weeks suspended jail sentence for this. The fact that he might actually have to go to jail is absurd because this stuff is.....

Hermes Arceau Ebony Chronograph Watch

'SPIN ME' SPIN THE BOTTLE GAME BY JIMMYJANE.

The best part of any 'party' between grades 6-10 was definitely playing spin the bottle.

I find it really unfortunate that as we get older, the game is considered childish and stupid.

You knew it would happen eventually at any birthday jam you were invited to, generally after a few hours of running around like animals and eating cake. That's when all of the kids would be loose and comfortable enough.

So I jumped all over the Spin Me 'game of mischief' created by JimmyJane, a sexy little online shop. Their array of products isn't incredible, they have some pretty cool vibrators, but their darling white bottle awakened a portal of innocent sexual nostalgia I couldn't ignore, for only $22!! Come on haha

The strips of paper inside, consists of 'naughty' little printed commands on it. The only problem was that said command was a) totally cheesy b) mad unoriginal, and c) hardly a turn-on. And they only give you a tiny handful to choose from! Knowing that there are bits and pieces of papers to create our own, I think it will definitely be a good idea to do so. But until that happens, I guess I could have just got a nice empty bottle for free and done the same.

MAC is well known for their campagnes that feature some of the worlds most famous taste makers in this modern day.

Being a stong advocate for the artistic imagery that goes along with the campagne, I am extremely excited to have found out that our very own couture pop-princess, LADY GAGA, and the heroes of all girls, Cyndi Lauper are teaming up for Spring 2010’s MAC Viva La Glam campagne!!! AHHHH! I cant contain myself.
Haha well I've been greatly infatuated with both of their styles and this is a huge joyment of news!

ALCOHOL PILL.......?

A Russian professor (Evgeny Moskalev) of Saint Petersburg Technological University has created a pill targeted at lazy alcohol lovers all over the world which would take the poison of your choice and turn it to a powder to be packed into a pill.

There's a statement saying that consumers could simply wrap them in plastic and then carry them around in a bag or their pocket.

I hope I'm not the only one with red flags going up here, but alcohol concentrated pills that you carry around wrapped in plastic in your pocket sounds super sketchy and kind of illegal.

I'm pretty sure that we're still in a roofie epidemic.

The point of putting booze in a poppable form - aside from just for the hell of it - is meant to allow the user to control their portions better. While that does seem like it could work to an extent, it's also easier to down a bottle of pills than a bottle of alcohol itself.

CLAUDIA SCHIFFER'S MYSTERY IN THE MOONLIGHT.

I just stumbled across this editorial in the UK edition of Bazaar and fell in LOVE.

It stars Claudia Schiffer, I've never been a huge fan, I feel like she's slightly before my time, but I almost see her more like an actress in this sense, which is what I think they were going for.

It reminds me of those pop art graphics, and what appeals most to me from the whole shoot though is definitely the use of mixed media.

Those old/creepy illustrations are so text-book, slightly reminiscent of Scooby-Doo backdrops, they play perfectly into the Mystery in the Moonlight title.

Claudia looks like a total doll, not for nothing.

Lady Gaga & 8 Million

Recently, the much loved, eccentric, fashion boundary breaking, amazing artist Lady Gaga was rewarded a plaque for selling 8 million records.
Graciously, Gaga broke out in tears after receiving the award at her Nokia Theater performance in LA. Aw!
I wish i was there to see it... Oh Gaga… How I wish to strip your closet bare. hahha!
Others may perceive her not-so-influential…but in my eyes, she has impressed me the fullest. Congrats Lady Gaga!!

LOUIS VUITTON - Astronaut

Louis Vuitton’s new ad campaign featuring astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Sally Ride , and Jim Lovel marks the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.

The ad was photographed by Annie Leibovitz in the California desert and each astronaut donated a significant portion of their modeling fee to Al Gore’s Climate Project.

Married to the MOB has been somewhat very similar to hellz bellz but in a more...explicit way.

They outreach new styles that are hot and fierce.

Same with hellzbellz, it has been loved and loved by its maniac fans and I love how these people always bring out new sensation/flavour to the floor.

Their tshirts are often super explicit, just about everything. But hey, thats what MOB is all about bitches!

KAWS x VOGUE PARIS

The November 2009 issue of Vogue Paris contains an amazing photoshoot titled “Graffi-Couture” featuring the beautiful model Raquel Zimmermann.

Styled by Vogue’s Emmanuelle Alt and shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti, the photoshoot has also been decorated by artwork from New York based artist KAWS.

KAWS has been one of my fav artists and KAWS has been getting a lot more press recently which I think that his artwork definitely worked for this shoot.

Rihanna in Super Sideviews

I love the Sideviews.

I think these are definitely “too out there” for most people but these are fun frames to rock - trust me.

Say what you will about Rihanna’s style but at least she tries new things.

Some of you girls need to step outside the box a little more.
